12 Tribes of Mars is a five-piece band that plays reggae, ska, and rocksteady under the influences of free improvisation. The group is strongly inspired by various producers using reggae tracks and making their remakes called dub. In my mind, aesthetic music is a universal language that belongs to everyone on this planet. Music unites people and reduces the boundaries between race and different generational differences.

The debut EP of experimental-Reggae band 12 Tribes of Mars explores the relationship between dance and improvisation, effortlessly weaving one within the other. The quintet masterfully introduces trance-inducing grooves, breaking them with wild improvisations and electronic explorations, before returning as though nothing has occurred.
